This is one of Rick's most moving pieces yet, made in honor of his son Jordan, and his two best friends, Jonathan & Joe, as well as all of those we love who have passed onto Heaven. Part of the proceeds of the sale of the Jordan River go to support the Jordan Sadler Memorial Fund at Fort Myers Christian School in Ft. Myers.
Each Jordan River bracelet is truly a one-of-a-kind as Rick free-forms the bead so the river, clouds and shape of the center bead will vary slightly with each bracelet. Rick compliments his beautiful lampglass beads with sterling silver (silver may vary from the picture) and Swarovski crystals and pearls. Next to the heart-shaped toggle closure, a sterling cross heart dangles gracefully.
You'll notice that the paper hangtag attached to the bracelet has a picture of the Jordan River. Although Rick has never personally visited the Holy Lands to see the Jordan, after making the bracelet prototype, his wife out of curiosity for what the Jordan River might look like googled it. This very picture of the Jordan was the first to pop up in her search, and they realized Rick's creation was truly Heaven breathed as it perfectly captured the loved river.
The Jordan River is a perfect memorial gift to buy for yourself or someone grieving the loss of a loved one, but it also is a beautiful reminder of the hope of Heaven. The three dots on the center bead represent the three boys crossing the Jordan River. If you'd like, you can request a center bead with only one dot. Just note that in the comments on your order.
